A Cut Above Tree Service is just that, a cut above the rest.
I have a very large 1/2 acre property which was in dire need of a cut back and thinning before the winds and rains hit us this winter. Covered in a vast assortment or trees, ranging from 6’ to 60’, I knew I’d be needing real professionals to get the job done correctly.
While quoting the job out to five different companies, Tino (the owner of A Cut Above) stood out amongst the rest. He was more attentive, detail oriented, driven, and in constant communication for any questions I had. He had the knowledge needed to deal with anything from year old saplings to hundred year old oaks.
Tino made it go right to get the job started 5 days earlier than the other quotes, within our budget, and brought the correct estimation of effort needed to turn a 2 day job into a 1 day job. He and his crew stayed to triple check everything had been done and nothing had been missed. He in-fact left the property cleaner than when he had arrived.
I would highly recommend Tino and his crew to anyone who is searching for big or small tree jobs. They did amazing work and we will definitely be contacting him again when our trees need that little extra professional care that we are unable to provide.

Tino and his team did an outstanding job removing the large tree shrubs around our school, which had gone years without proper maintenance. By the time they finished, the schoolyard looked brand new!
They were not only professional but also flexible, working around our school schedule. The team put in a lot of effort and ensured everything was completed to my satisfaction. I couldn’t be happier with the result.

Tino was very quick to respond and to give me an estimate. He was also available quickly to do the work. Everyone living in San Fernando Valley knows how hot it’s been this month (August). Through no fault of his, on the day he was coming to do the work Tino had a problem with his truck. We agreed to set a new day once the truck was fixed, but to my surprise he got it fixed quickly and suggested coming later that same day. I wasn’t happy that he had a problem that kept him from getting here on time, but he called several times to make sure I knew what was going on and updated his ETA. When he got here he pulled out two cacti and one very large tree (all were dead) really quickly. I had to leave before he was done, so I paid him and left him to it. When I got back I was very pleased to see that he’d cleaned up the area where he had been working leaving it looking like there had been no work done. My only problem was I thought he was a little expensive, but since he was the only quote I got, I could be wrong.
