FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My fees are $15 per notarized signature plus a travel fee. The travel fee is based on round-trip mileage. Notary Public provided witness is an additional $100.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to find out exactly what type and the titles of the documents my clients need notarizing, if they live in a home, apartment, or an assisted living facility. Clients in an assisted living facility will require an Ombudsman or Patient Advocate to sign and witness. It is best that you make prior arrangement for the Ombudsman or Patient Advocate to be at the signing as not to incur my waiting fee. Due to Covid-19 I prefer outside signings when possible. To protect of all, I require all participates at a signing wear a face mask. There also may be situations that I require you to email me the document(s) if I am unsure if I have the authority to notarize.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelor of Science degree and I work full time for an estate planning and elder law firm. Part of my duties is to serve as the notary public and witness at our signing meetings.
