FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My prices can be seen both ways. Some see them as low but that is due to my overhead being smaller than most. I pass the savings down to you. Others might see my prices high but that is because I use nothing but UL listed materials and equipments to do the job right. Either way, you will be getting ultra high quality installations everytime. I care about the fit and finish of every job, big or small.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
A typical residential process is that I come out, scope the work. Then I return to build your fixed priced quote. If you agree then we move forward with the job. For other smaller service calls I charge $60 for upto an hour of troubleshooting or servicing your equipment. If I cannot solve the issue within an hour I will then create a fixed price quote for you to fix the problem. Just like before, if you agree then we can proceed. I don't cut corners. Its not worth it to me losing my license over cutting corners and lying to you.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm a Finance major. My brain functions in numbers. This is another reason electrican fits me very well. There is a lot of math in this trade such as mathematical equations for load calculations, custom conduit runs, voltage readings dealing with a high leg, box fill, conduit fill, etc. I'm also a certified licensed electrician for the state of California. The state requires me 5 years of schooling and onnthe job training to apply for this license. After all the prerequisites are complete then we are tested before the licensed is given. Every few years I must also complete a designated amount of classroom time in order to keep renewing my license.
