John was very responsive and communicative from the start and was one of the first ones to respond to my job hot water heater inquiry. We spoke over the phone to share what's been going on at one of our rental properties. He shared what possible causes but confirmed he needed to see it in person to diagnose the issue and decide next steps. He was able to come by same-day, making the trip from Orange County to San Diego during the holiday season. Once he assessed the issue, he confirmed that the tankless water heater needed to be replaced. We weren't ready to make that kind of decision yet as this isn't something we anticipated, especially from a financial perspective. He gave us some time to decide and gave us his bottom line price to do the job and replace the unit with a brand-new, state-of-the-art Navien unit. He empathized with our situation as he didn't want our tenants to go without reliable hot water during the holidays and in the winter. Once we decided to move forward, we agreed on a date pretty soon when he can come out, and he made the time and drive again to replace and install the new unit in one day. His knowledge, level of service, work quality and value are top-tier. We are fortunate to have come across John and Tankless Pro - will definitely be using them for other related needs!

It would only let me select 3 highlights, but I would have definitely added punctuality as well! John was a gem! He was kind, re-assuring, and did not give up until the job was done right. He finished the work in the dark whereas most people would have left and said they had to come back another day. He fit me into his already busy day to ensure I didn’t have to go another day without hot water since I had already gone weeks without it. The water filter he sold me had already been sold to me by 3 other plumbers and I declined it due to the high cost, but John did an incredible job of explaining all the benefits, the value, and did it without me feeling pressured. Had I declined that water heater he was still willing to install the one I already purchased, which no other plumber would do. He is honest and trustworthy. He made me feel completely comfortable and satisfied with my investment. If there is a rating higher than a 10/10, I would give it to John! He is a wonderful human.
