I’m insured! Book directly on my website for a lower rate. How can I make your event spectacular? I am Sara Mae and I offer airbrush tattoos, face painting, giant bubbles, glitter tattoos, and balloon twisting. As a middle school teacher and artist, my commitment is to deliver joy, smiles, and a delightful artistic experience. I bring all my supplies and I am happy to work with any theme. All my paints are professional, cosmetic grade, hypoallergenic and made with antimicrobial properties. For loose glitter, I use mica, magnesium oxide, and iron oxide. PLEASE READ: My booking minimum is 2-hours, unless you are located in Oakland, Berkeley, Alameda, Piedmont. or Emeryville. Travel fees: 0-20min: free 20-40min: $25-35 40-60min: $50 Tolls add $7

Working with Sarah Mae was so easy and ideal when managing a birthday party. She was able to work through the many children's faces with ease and joy. Everyone was impressed with her work and even the custom face painting! We would highly recommend her for anyone looking for a great face painter.

My daughter had her 7 year old birthday party and about 12 kids came and got their face or arm painted. I wish I took more pictures but I was so busy I forgot. All the kiddos LOVED what they got. And the adults were also very happy with what they saw. Headypainting also brings some really neat bubbles stuff or does balloon twisting. The kids had a great time. I’ll definitely book again next year and I highly recommend you do too

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I provide a quote, my follow-up information, and ask for any theme requests, etc. If you would like to move forward, I request a 50% deposit to hold the date and time.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have taken body art classes through the international face painting guild, one-on-one airbrushing courses from a Hollywood body artist, a Disney artist, and I continue to practice and grow my skillsets through research and application.
