He started the estimate at $165 the he came and unprepared and had to travel to Hardware few times to get his tolls. He would take a break every 15 mins. We agreed to pay him 350 for his work but latter he try to charge us 750 for the job which he never mentioned in the beginning. He stuff a wholegrain bread into our water system which decreased our water pressure in our sink and shower faucet by 90 percent. He didn’t know how to put the shower water switch back together and he asked me to do the job. I cleaned the water filter few times and now our master bedroom is effected by this. He did fix the leak but he caused other major problems.

placing bread in a water line helps to prevent steam from building up before soldering pipe back together. the bread takes a few hours to dissolve but given it is just wheat and gluten it always dissolves eventually. However, it can take over an hour to completely dissolve under pressure in lines.

Drain cleaning costs 75 dollars an hour . most jobs take 1 to 2 hours to complete depending on severity of problem. Most other calls are done by bids.
