FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My hourly rate is $65 per hour for graphic design, with a half hour minimum. I charge in 15 minute increments after the first half hour. Time can be greatly reduced with good communication about the results you are expecting. I also have set pricing for standard projects such as business card setup, logo's, flyers, etc. Printing and promotional item prices vary greatly depending on product and quantity. Quotes are free and we provide good quality and fast turnarounds.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I discuss the needs of their project and make sure I fully understand what they are looking for. Then I provide a quote. Once the quote is approved I provide a design proof for review. Revisions are discussed and the proofing process continues until the project is approved. Once approved, I provide final artwork in the formats requested and send an invoice by email for payment. When payment is received, a link to download the files is sent to the client.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been working full time as a graphic designer since 2013. While my education is informal, I have several years of hands on experience working for magazine publishing companies, printers and marketing firms.
