What started out great did not end too well. Yes, Michael did proof read my project. Then we agreed that I would pay him to format it. That did not work out well as he placed pictures etc in the wrong place--they should have been left where they were and I had to make 30 new PDF's for printer. He did give me links for the book so I could make changes later--but they are all 'read only'. I have sent emails repeatedly asking him to resend MY document that he updated with MY comments as a regular document and not 'read only' and he has never replied. Basically, having him format it was a waste of time. So, if you want him to proof-read something--ok--nothing else.

I charge by the project. Every manuscript or writing project is different. Sometimes editing is rather straightforward... and sometimes not. Manuscripts vary considerably and I offer various services. Some projects can continue through numerous revisions, but some can be wrapped up rather quickly. Depends on where you are in the writing process. Contact me with details about what you have, and/or just send me something and I can review it and let you know what I can do for you, and give you a quote and timeline. Feel free to call to chat.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We begin by you sending me a copy of your document and telling me what you need done. I'll then look it over, tell you what I can do for you, and quote you a price and a timeline.
