FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is straightforward and based on the specific details of each project, such as the type of doors being installed, the complexity of the job, and the time required. I provide a clear estimate before starting any work, so there are no surprises. While I don’t typically offer discounts, I believe in delivering high-quality craftsmanship at a fair and competitive rate. Additional fees may apply for special requests or complex installations, but these will always be communicated upfront. My goal is to ensure transparency and that every customer is fully informed throughout the process.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When working with a new customer, my process begins with an initial consultation to discuss their needs and preferences for the door installation. I like to understand the specifics of the project—whether it’s for interior or exterior doors, and what style or functionality they’re looking for. Once I have all the details, I provide a clear and honest estimate for the work, including timelines. If the customer agrees, I schedule the installation at their convenience and ensure all necessary materials and tools are ready. On the day of installation, I arrive on time, take care of the job with precision, and clean up the space once the work is completed. After the job is finished, I follow up to ensure everything is to the customer’s satisfaction.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I hold a college diploma in Alimentation with Heat, Gas, and Ventilation, which provided me with a strong foundation in technical and practical skills. In addition, I completed an NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry in the UK, which further honed my skills in woodworking and installation. While my background covers a range of technical disciplines, my focus has shifted to door installation, where I apply both my carpentry expertise and attention to detail to ensure high-quality results for every project.
