- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My prices are $70 an hour or $35 for a half hour lesson.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
At the first lesson we discuss student goals, learning approaches, agree on the lesson schedule, and begin lessons. Payment arrangements are explained and agreed on.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I performed with the Los Medanos Baroque Ensemble for 4 years playing piano and harpsichord and was accompanist for a local church. I was a student of Nancy Bachmann for 8 years at Los Medanos College studying piano and music theory. Previous to my studies with Ms. Bachmann, I studied piano and theory at San Jose State University. My early studies were with Ella Hermann in Minneapolis. I played with the Los Medanos Baroque Ensemble, local churches and for various school productions. I have studied privately and taken studio classes since I was young. I have played in a variety of venues the latest being with the Los Medanos Baroque Ensemble.
