Alia has been great to work with, she responded to my request within 10 minutes and set up a consultation call that same day. Within the several hours between our messages and our consultation she had already drafted some ideas for my office design based on the details I gave her in the request. She listened to everything I was hoping to achieve and then went over exactly what to expect if I were to hire her. Within 2 days she had already designed a concept board, floorplan, and put together a furniture purchase list for me to review. I’m not a picky guy, I loved her choices and went with everything she recommended! We’re now in the process of waiting on everything to arrive so she can come and style it all. Alia, the designer, was literally the most amazing person to work with. She was very communicative and open to any changes that we needed. She took our floor plan and made it 3D. She mapped it out and everything was to scale. She built a digitized version our entire apartment just based on the pictures/videos we sent her and the floor plan she found on our buildings website. We then gave her a basic color scheme and some of the furniture we found and let her do her magic. She scaled every piece of furniture and made recommendations for the furniture and layout. Her attention to detail is amazing, so much so that she even included our cat and plants in the layout. When we received our virtual model it had all the furniture, decor, appliances, and colors we asked for.She was able to take just basic furniture and transform it with decor and object placement. It gave us a view of what our apartment would look like fully furnished from every angle. You could actually move around the space and see it from every side, which I appreciated because I felt like I was walking through my future apartment. When I first saw the design, I instantly felt like it was a space I could absolutely live in. She gave 3 different variations of our space and I appreciated that because we were able to determine layout worked best for us. I liked that she was so communicative and willing to change anything that we suggested. She is also very honest and will tell you her opinion about the flow of colors and will recommend different types of furniture and decor that she thinks will look best in your space. I liked that she told us if she thought a piece of furniture would be too big for our place because some of the pieces we liked would have crowded our apartment.I would also like to point out that she is well versed on style terminology, as she explained it to us and gave us examples of the different types of styles (i.e. modern, mid century, rustic, etc). I know this seems silly, but you would be amazed on how helpful it was going into a furniture store and knowing exactly what style you were going for.If youre indecisive when it comes to decor and interior design like I am, Alia will help you come to a decision by literally giving you a visual depiction of your mind. Unfortunately I was not able to obtain full services due to personal circumstances changing. However, I wanted to still leave a review based on my initial contact and consultation with Alia! She is lovely. Was very courteous, responsive, informative and understanding. Should the project had moved forward I have no doubt I would've been happy with the outcome.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Every client will receive a free 20 min consultation to briefly discuss their project needs, I will then recommend a service package I believe to be the best fit. Stages of the project and exact timeframe will depend on the service package selected, however each client will receive a welcome packet that will provide details on each step!
