We bought a new garage door because our old one was as loud as a plane taking off when opening or closing. Unfortunately our new door got really screeching so I called GDI. Troy came out and immediately diagnosed the issue and offered a lubrication service. Troy did that as well as make several adjustments to the rollers and hinges. Afterwards my door is whisper quiet. I would call Troy again in a second for any future repairs or maintenance. Thanks GDI!!!

Kris arrived at our house on time. He inspected our garage door openers (which are 13 years old) and advised what needed to be repaired. His technical knowledge and ability to explain are impressive. When we decided upon new garage door openers he quickly and efficiently installed them. He explained the costs at the beginning and the end. We were extremely satisfied with his service!

Had GDI come out to take a look at garage door was hard to lift up and would not stay halfway open. After a quick evaluation, Keith confirmed the springs and cables needed to be changed. Keith went over things with me beforehand, was very courteous and did a great job installing everything. We had a cabinet that prevented him from putting the cable on one of the sides so we arranged to have him come back the next week after we emptied and moved it. Keith also showed me how to use a screwdriver to make adjustments to the garage door opener to ensure it closes fully. Overall was very happy and appreciate of Keiths help and would absolutely recommend.

Our technician will provide a free estimate once the problem has been inspected.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Once an appointment is made, our technician will arrive to the home. Once a 26-point inspection has been made, the homeowner will be given a free estimate and explanation of the seen problem areas.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our technician must pass a 9-week course that includes classroom education, real-life training on a life size garage door and actual field training and onsite repairs.
