Valencia Termite Control came and treated our house with Bora care and orange oil because of dry wood termite infestation in the crawlspace and attic areas. I found them to be competent, friendly, and highly professional. Since I have pets, children, and older people living with us, fumigation is out of the question since its expensive (kennel fees, motel expenses, food and medication packaged, etc.) and time consuming. I realize that orange oil is basically spot treatment and may require more treatment later if there should be dry wood termite infestation somewhere else in the house, but I think it is worthwhile since we dont have worry about breathing the lingering fumigation smell. I like that Valencia Termite is a small family operation with no employees or subcontractors, so I feel comfortable having strangers in my house without worrying about sticky fingers.

As a Real Estate Broker, it is vital to my business that i have excellent contractors who know what they are doing, can do it in a timely manner, and are convenient for me.
It was very easy to set up an appointment. The office staff was friendly and I didn't get a recording. I was able to get an inspector out within a week. They called the day before to confirm the appointment which I appreciate since I usually have a million things going on.
When I arrived at the property (on time), the inspector was already there working on the outside. He said it would take about an hour, I asked if he needed me, he said "no", i gave him a check, told him to lock up, and left.
Two days later, I received the report via email. The report was thorough, easy to read and well organized. The price was industry standard as well. I will absolutely be using Valencia termite control again!

This company is truly exceptional in its commitment to customer service. I unwittingly bought termite-infested redwood (didn't realize this until it was installed) from Home Depot for a front yard fence. Valencia came out immediately and treated the fence, taking care to do it in a way that minimized staining or cosmetic damage to the freshly stained and sealed wood (including drilling holes in the posts in inconspicuous spots to insert the treatment chemicals into the wood in order to reach the nests). They helped me understand the life cycle of termites and developmental stages so that I could demonstrate to Home Depot through photographic evidence that the termites were already in the wood when I bought it. They agreed to WAIT to receive payment until I got reimbursement from Home Depot, which took about 6 weeks. Have you ever heard of any other company doing this??? While they were here, they also did a free annual inspection of the other areas of my home following up from their tenting last year when I bought the house. A month or so after the fence treatment I saw some bugs on the fence, and took pictures to send to Valencia Termite. They immediately got back to me & said they weren't termites. It's like I have my own personal entomologist on call! I will never use any other termite company. They are outstanding in every regard.

I suspected termite damage around a window in my bedroom. Valencia Termite came out and inspected the home (lived here for over 20 years), and confirmed that there was termite damage. They treated the house (exterior foundation) and showed where repairs would be needed.
Valencia Termite was fast, friendly and reasonably priced. High recommendation.
