What a lifesaver! After the scheduled installer could not complete my install of vinyl sheet flooring in 2 bathrroms at the very last minute, I was very stressed as it was for a move-out in a rental and I only had a couple days left. AK answered my call for help and came to install it the very same day, within a couple hours of my request being sent. Not only that, he did an amazing job, it looks perfect and the price was phenomenal! He was prompt, professional, hard workknt, neat, respectful of the property, and he takes great pride and care in his work. He also was just a lovely person and I felt completely comfortable with him in my home alone. He absolutely saved the day and it was such a huge relief to have the work done at the end of the day still. I recommend Akbar for any handyman needs and I will defintely be using him again anytime I need a handyman. Great work, great value, and great vibe! "AK Handyman Service exceeded my expectations in every way! I hired him to fix a leaky faucet, install new light fixtures, and repair a damaged wall in my bathroom. I really don't like leaving this kind of review, but I feel it is necessary to inform potential customers. Trying to be positive here, I think there may be jobs that AK would do just fine at, but what I hired him for was a bit above his knowledge/skill level. I hired him to replace wood flooring, convert a door to a window, and strip and refinish old wood floors. The Good: His associate did most of the new wood flooring. I am extremely happy with how it came out at this point. Hopefully it holds up. The Bad: His stucco and drywall work where the door was instead is somewhat rough. It should be much cleaner and there should not be noticeable bumps and rough spots. The Ugly: The wood flooring refinishing looks dreadful. He did not use the appropriate grit sandpaper and there were bare spots and streaks everywhere. It was better before he finished it. I ended paying someone else to properly recoat it the next day. Again, perhaps for jobs that require less detail and knowhow, AK would be fine, but I would not hire him again for something larger. If I am to be honest, it was not a good experience at all.
