FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Compared to my competitors in the Bay Area, I provide affordable prices. When I determine my fee, I take into account your financial circumstances. I'm willing to discuss payment plans with you. Automatic discount if you show documentation of low income, such as a medical card or a food stamp card.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First, we have a brief phone conversation to see if the concern is within the scope of our practice; then, we design a plan with the number of sessions and methods that might be utilized, pricing, and setting a date and time to meet. The usual number of sessions to work on a typical issue is four. I work on a project basis which means I charge a flat rate for the four sessions; the session is around 2 hours, although I often find myself going over time, which is of no charge. The first session mainly discusses the issue; then, we finish with a hypnotic session to familiarize the client with hypnosis and do some preparatory work. If the client has previous hypnotherapy experience, we can jump into deep work.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
The Hypnotherapy Training School of Corta Madera, California, has certified me as a hypnotherapist and master hypnotist. My undergraduate degree is in psychology, and I plan to continue my education by pursuing a master's program in psychology to become a psychotherapist. Furthermore, I practice Theta Healing.
