FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I do not take insurance but I am able to offer a super-bill which can be submitted to your insurance for reimbursement. It is important to me that mental health help is accessible so I am able to offer sliding scale to see if we can find something that works!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I offer FREE 15 minute discovery calls where I get an idea of what you’re seeking and you can ask me any of your questions. If you choose to move forward, I will send you intake paperwork via online portal for you to complete prior to first session. Therapy is a relationship, so our first few sessions are about building trust and comfortability as we move deeper into process.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have earned a masters degree from Antioch University in Santa Barbara, CA in clinical psychology. I am an AMFT acquiring hours toward full licensure. I am trained in the Gottman method, level 1 NARM, and treatment of eating disorders by the Carolyn Costin Institute. I have extensive life experience in therapy and am recovered from an eating disorder myself. I bring this insight into how I show up as a therapist.
