Who is my service for?
Here at Main Fitness Training my services are for those who are either just beginning or returning to fitness.
Why?
Everyone deserves to feel comfortable and confident going into the fitness world and with so much information out there surrounding the fitness industry I want to be your go-to for advice and individual training.
My Services.
I would not consider my services that of a traditional Personal Trainer. For a start I ONLY work with people who are beginning their journey. This allows me to really hone my skills as a professional and support a group of people who I feel are under served in the industry.
Secondly my aim is not to keep you coming back to me for years on end (though I’m totally here for you if that’s what you need!) , instead I want to give YOU the tools and confidence so you can embark on your own path. Whether that’s to start attending group fitness classes, or go to that new boutique fitness studio in town or simply to join a gym and do your own thing, I am here to get you started and where you need to be.
How do I do this?
In my side gig as a fitness coach I find a lot of clients come to classes with little knowledge of functional movement patterns, so this is where I spend a lot of my time with my personal training clients. I also add in a lot of balance and stability to my training as it’s so incredibly beneficial to everyone.
Over the years I have found the most successful clients are those who fully understand the ‘why?’ of what we are doing not just the ‘how’ to do things, so I will always take care to give the reasons behind the exercises to help ensure your success.
And Finally…
Ultimately I want to help newcomers avoid the pitfalls, potential injuries and gimmicks that can surround the fitness industry. I want exercise to be safe, accessible and enjoyable for all, whatever your goals.
