FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My prices vary a bit from client to client. This is simply because I make up such a specialized, targeted program, set of goals & ways of achieving them for each individual case. It would be impossible to have a flat rate.....however, when you consider that your dog is not simply learning to obey a command, but learning to do SOOOO VERY MUCH MORE, like get THRU anything that may be blocking them from being the truly free spirited dog that dogs are meant to be~you, too will find yourself a much happier person & pet parent.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I always like to set up a face to face evaluation at NO CHARGE! to the potential client for several reasons. 1.) It gives them the chance to meet me & see first if they are comfortable with me. 2.) It gives both myself & the pet parents an opportunity to see how their dog [s] respond to me & my energy; with the ultimate goal of making us ALL more comfortable & relaxed! 3.) It also allows the pet parents to come up with any more in depth questions they may have. I feel this is an excruciatingly important first step to take!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have grown up working with dogs & horses on my Aunt's farm my whole life. However, after rescuing Jordan, [ whom I refer to as my first born-as I don't have children! ], he gave me the MOST BEAUTIFUL gift and I just knew it was my life's calling to share it. I immediately began training & massaging him, then took several classes. Shortly thereafter, I decided to go to Canine Massage School to become a Canine Massage Therapist as well as a Trainer & Behavioral Specialist. We studied Canine Behavior & body language in school, & the rest I learned by taking class after class, studying under other trainers, and working very many intern hours just to learn as much as I could. I even lived at a training/boarding/daycare facility for 4 months, 24 hours/day; just to study as much & as many canines as I could. I am continually taking online courses to keep up with my education as well.
