FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is highly dependent on the material and space where it'll be installed. Since a high quality installation depends on the combination of material and wall conditions, each estimate will be tailor-made to your project.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
New customers should expect to have a discussion on the walls, materials, and measurements needed. This will typically be accompanied by photos and and/or architectural designs. Since an accurate estimation of wallpaper depends on the roll lengths, pattern repeats, ceiling and floor grades, and various windows and doors, I'll first request to go over the complete sizing of the space and the specific materials to ensure we have a successful installation. When I have a good understanding of the scope of the project, I'll calculate a bid and present it to the owner. After this, we can discuss scheduling and the entire process for the installation.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My best friend's family owned Quality Paperhanging since the early 90's. The primary hangers at the firm were the owner and 4 of his sons (and me). When I'm in Boise, I generally subcontract from them for any bigger jobs and then take on personal projects on the side.
