She is a very good at setting a good foundation for beginners via warm up exercises and short vocal exercises. As well as, understanding where to start you off with your vocals and guide the lesson. Also very knowledgeable when it comes to music and the terminology that surrounds it. If you’d like to start singing or improve, she is definitely a great teacher!

She was very patient with me as someone who had very little prior experience with vocal lessons. She had a lot of personality it made the experience a lot less awkward and she really created a pleasant environment. If anyone is trying to learn to sing and looking for a good teacher this is the one.

I just finished my first voice lesson with Olivia and I'm very happy with it. She is friendly and focussed. Her explanations were very clear, and we had a good exchange. She tailored the exercises per what she was hearing and seeing and had a good balance of encouragement and helpful feedback on where and how to improve! I feel like we covered a lot of ground in the hour, too.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to start lessons by understanding the vocal goals and desires of the student. I then follow this short conversation by having the student sing through a couple of simple vocal exercises to evaluate where our focus in training should be for the rest of their lesson.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Bachelors of Music in Vocal Performance from Hunter College in New York City. Trained under mentor Maria Argyros (President and Master Instructor at McClosky Institute™)
