We are dedicated to help people achieve joy, balance, happiness and contentment by improving awareness and freedom of movement through the medium of dance. We are available for private lessons and group classes in most styles of partner dances, from smooth (Waltz, Foxtrot, Tango, V. Waltz, etc.) to Latin (Salsa, Mambo, Bachata, Bachatango, Cha-cha, Cumbia, Rumba, Bolero, Merengue, Zouk, Kizomba and more), swing (East Coast, West Coast, Jitterbug, Country, Lindy, etc.), Hustle, Night Club two-step and Country two-step. About the Author: In the late 2002, Mark had a good fortune of being introduced to the graceful and exciting salsa and bachata. His passion for Latin dancing was fired up. Since then, he has been on a continuous exploration of various forms of body movement and dancing styles, and now, he has been teaching most styles of partner dancing with the main focus on social Latin dances (salsa, bachata, merengue, cha-cha, rumba, cumbia and bachatango) throughout the Phoenix area for over 8 years, acquiring experience in teaching people of all walks of life, ages, abilities and skills. Mark had wonderful opportunities to study with many of the great dancers like Bob Powers and Julia Gorchakova (former 12-time American Rhythm champions), Jenell Maranto (former U.S. American Smooth champion), John Narvaez and Liz Rojas (former salsa champions), Abel Pena and Zulmara Torres (undefeated 3X ESPN World Salsa champions) and many others. In his previous scientific career Mark have earned double MS in applied Math and Physics, and subsequently Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry. Well, dancing is all about "Chemistry", and understanding of music is based in understanding of Math. So, by exploring his passion for dance, Mark is continuing his previous quest for knowledge taking it to the next level of depth. It brings me joy and great satisfaction to be able to help people learn this new language of partner dancing, to see the quality of their lives improve with every step they take on a dance floor and to see my students' faces light up when they experience success with all their performances and events!

Mark did an excellent job at one of my corporate events. We had a very laid back crowd and we weren't sure if the people would be engaged in the lesson. Mark did a great job at engaging the group once he started the lesson. He was very responsive and made sure to have all information needed beforehand.

Mark is a great dance instructor. We picked out our first dance song before he came to the house for our first lesson. He listened to our needs and made suggestions as we went alone. We ended up changing a few things to make the dance more interesting. He was also gladly to make adjustment for the music to suit our need. Toward the end , we just had enough time to finish our whole choreograph and not enough time to practice. We videotaped our rehearsal for him. He was very happy to provide quick to the point suggestions which proved to be extremely valuable to us. Our wedding was a destination wedding without wedding rehearsal. Everything had to fit in place in the right time. We followed his advice to practice on the wedding floor just once to get things settled in. Very glad that we did it. We received lot of cheers for our dance. It was a smooth and successful event. Thank you, Mark!

Mark was a fantastic instructor! We hired him to help us with our first dance at our wedding and he was able to put together a routine for us that was exactly what we were looking for. I didn't have any prior dance experience, but he was able to teach us and work within our abilities. He was even able to edit a song for us to make the routine the perfect length. Highly recommend!

My wife and I had a wonderful time learning from mark. He choreographed our wedding dance and worked with us along the way. This was essential because with a basic, meaning almost none, skill of dancing he had to be very patient with us. Mark was a delight to work with and had a great sense of humor along the way. He tailored the lessons to our pace and timeline. On our wedding day it was fantastic and we went into our first dance with confidence. Everyone was extremely impressed because I have two left feet. We are looking forward to continuing our learning with mark for the future.

Great teacher!! Extremely happy with what we accomplished in only 5 session. Mark knows what he is doing and works with you to get the result you want. No dance experience in our side and we did our first dance in only 5 session and are very happy with the result. I highly recommend Mark!!!

FIRST CONSULTATION LESSON: $30 5 LESSON PACKAGE: $325 ($65 PER CLASS) SINGLE PRIVATE LESSON: $70
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We recommend to schedule the first(full hour) consultation, which would allow us to find out specifically what new customer is looking for, to assess their skill level and rate of learning, and to offer a road map to success in accomplishing their goal. FOR WEDDING COUPLES FIRST CONSULTATION WILL ALSO INCLUDE DETAILS SUCH AS SHOES AND DRESS OF THE BRIDE, MUSIC CHOICE FOR DANCE, DANCE STYLE.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
In June 2007 Mark was certified to teach 10 main partner dances at the Arthur Murray's dance studios. Since then he had wonderful opportunities to study with many of the great dancers like Bob Powers and Julia Gorchakova (former 12-time American Rhythm Champions), Jenell Maranto (former U.S. American Smooth Champion), John Narvaez and Liz Rojas (former Salsa Champions), Abel Pena and Zulmara Torres (undefeated 3X ESPN World Salsa Champions) and many others.
