- How did you get started doing this type of work?
While selling real estate in my hometown, East Hampton NY, I realized there was a market for someone who “does it all” in terms of party planning to staffing to catering, bar and so forth. I started a small business where I “did it all” so my clients could sit back and relax and enjoy their company and party. My business grew exponentially over the years, no longer just clambakes on the beach and backyard bbq’s, but large scale corporate events and fundraisers. Eventually I took my food and beverage knowledge to San Francisco where I worked at a rooftop craft cocktail bar which enabled me to hone my craft cocktail skills.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I loved a recent bachelorette pool party we bartended at in Scottsdale. Loved the Mid Century style of the home and decor which fit perfectly with my vision and aesthetic for our bar set-up and cocktails for that particular party. Style, design, tasty cocktails, yummy food and happy clients is my passion. I’ll spend months sourcing the perfect items to match a client’s party theme. The clients including the bride loved the attention to details, our fun and outgoing demeanor and the cocktails.
