- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always had an interest in working out and have done so since a young kid. As I got older I decided that I wanted to learn more about the human body and the correct way to work out. Once I started school I had realized that most people working out did not know how the science behind exercise worked. I knew from then on that I wanted to spread my knowledge and truly make a difference in the quality of other peoples lives.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Most common would be; -Weight Loss -Rehabilitation Training -Weight/Muscle Gain -Beginner to Advance Fitness -Firming and toning -Flexibility -Aerobic Fitness -Endurance Training -Body Building -Nutrition
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Make sure you ask a lot of questions. There are a lot of "personal trainers" with lack of certifications, and knowledge. Don't think just because they are in shape they know how to provide individualized training. Also just a heads up, in the state of Arizona you do not have to be certified, or hold a degree in personal training to work at a gym or provide services.
