Hi, I am a Spanish native speaker and a teacher for Spanish. I've been teaching Spanish since 2007 and I LOVE what I do. I am highly trained and PASSIONATE to teach my language and culture. I have experience teaching kids, teenagers, and adults. Also, if you need Spanish for getting the DELE certification, I am qualified for that, and I could help you. One very important aspect of my lessons is the fact that they follow a COMMUNICATIVE APPROACH, so you will speak Spanish from the first time we meet. I have enjoyed working with Celia so much. She is fun, friendly, accommodating, and empathetic. She nudges me out of my comfort zone. Lessons are full of fun games and She provides other tools to help me continue learning outside of sessions. I have grown much in my Spanish language learning and I highly recommend her.

Celia has been my Spanish teacher for more than 3 years and she has done a fantastic job at teaching me to speak the language and I would recommend her classes to all Spanish students. During my time with Celia, I have progressed from speaking no Spanish to passing my Dele B2 exam and being confident in both personal and business settings. When I began learning, her classes were always very well prepared, lots of fun and she is flexible around timings. I think the homework that she gives and corrects is additionally very useful to ensure that the knowledge gained during the class stays with you. For the preparation of the Dele exam, we had to get more serious and spent a lot of time working on grammar, vocabulary and ironing out issues with my pronunciation which gave me a lot of confidence going into the exam. She is perfect!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My prices are negotiable depending on the circumstances of each one, depending on the number of hours per week, the number of people per class and the duration of the project.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First I need to know what the needs of my students are, what previous knowledge they have of Spanish, and what is the objective for which they want to speak Spanish. After that, I establish a study and work plan, we decide the number of classes per week and the days and hours. Finally, the whole stage is ready to start our performance.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a degree related to Spanish as a language and its literature. I am certified as a teacher and I have a master in teaching Spanish. Furthermore I am also certified for the DELE Spanish Diploma exams. I am an examiner and therefore I know the structure of the exams very well and I am trained to teach them to pass.
