- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I will come for free to see and estimate your projects if necessary. If there is a lot of work of the same kind (eg. assembling 8 chairs) I am willing to offer discounts. Very often during a project other necessary but previously unpredictable details/repairs/ interventions may come up. I will communicate with my client and add a reasonable extra charge to the initial amount. However, if it’s something that doesn’t require a lot of extra work ( under 10 minutes ) I will not add any additional fee.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My clients usually get in touch with me because I was recommended by someone. If I understand what they need over the phone then I will give them a quote and we go from there on. If the job requires me to go and see it, I will do so. Once we agree on the details of the job, I do it as soon as possible as long as it works for my client.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My training was done working with my father in law for a long period. He is a very qualified general contractor.
