Hi, I'm Christina!
My clients would describe me as upbeat, tactfully honest and a professional. Remember back in the day when people really put forth effort to serve others? Yeah, I'm old school that way. :)
I work with clients to solve their hair issues to add fullness, volume and length while maintaining the health and integrity of the hair. I do this through high quality hair extensions and CLEAN haircolor, free of ammonia.
I am a health-conscious girly, super into natural wellness and frequency healing modalities. I've been behind the chair since 2008 and hold lots of certifications... kind of a forever student. I find the more I know, the more tools I have to help create the look you desire and to feel seen, heard and important.
Behind the chair, this is what I provide. I strive to make every interaction a memorable one with impeccable listening. People really experience getting "gotten" and heard. In my opinion, listening is an art. And it's an art that can heal wounds and interrupt disempowering patterns. I absolutely love empowering people to be bigger than they know themselves to be.
My guests can't even put their finger on why they feel so amazing walking out of my salon. Besides their amazing hair, of course. That is my commitment to you, each time you use me as your beauty professional. :)

Christina is awesome. She listen to my concerns, what I wanted and my fears. I highly recommend her if you have natural curly hair and if you what any coloring. Christina is very knowledgeable in her job.

I was looking for a place where I felt comfortable to be, as my current salon had little to no protocol for safety. I reached out through thumbtack and Christina responded quickly and was so nice! I have white/bleached hair and with the pandemic and life, I had about 4 inches of solid roots. She was very helpful in helping me figure out what to do to clean it all up (even when I changed my mind a couple times she was great and patient!) I showed her pics and the end result looked exactly like I was looking for! She made a beautiful blend with my bleach and roots to make a lovely hair creation and get the best of both worlds! Definitely would recommend to anyone!!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing and estimates I send out here are not always the exact estimate, as hair thickness and many other factors could increase the estimate.
I do charge travel fees that typically range between $40-$100 depending solely on the location and the time spent packing, unloading, traveling to you and back.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
A new client will fill out a client intake form and I'll conduct an in-depth consultation to address all concerns and needs. I offer beverages from water, to regular coffee made fresh, red and white wine.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I hold a Redken Certified Colorist, which very few Stylists in the world have. I am also a Pureologist. Every year I regularly attend additional classes in NYC, Las Vegas and locally to improve my skills in the hair industry.
