I have known Ron for 15 years. We have worked together both professionally and in volunteer organizations. At one point, when I was at an important transition point in my career, he served as facilitator in a series of key meetings between me and the Executive Director of the corporation for which I was Chairman of the Board of Directors. His even handed, calm and uplifting focus allowed me to clearly realize the causes of friction between me and the ED and the actions that I needed to take for the benefit of the ED, the organization and myself. Ron is one of those rare souls who can truly listen and intuit the essential questions that need to be asked. In so doing, he guides you in your own self-discovery. And he is very practical. Previously, I had been researching the practice of mindfulness meditation applied to psychotherapeutic practice. I was optimistically receptive to the value of this type of integrative approach in psychotherapy, yet I felt there was a critical omission of that part of our being that transcends the mind the soul. After finding and reading Dr. Manns fascinating book, Sacred Healing: Integrating Spirituality with Psychotherapy, I was very eager to meet with him. In my two meetings with Dr. Mann I found a gifted psychotherapist, who has an intuitive grasp of holistic healing which pervades body, mind and soul the triune qualities of all of us.
