Cindy has worked on several translations projects from Spanish to English (vice versa) for the law firm I work. She is very professional and reliable. Being fluently bilingual in Spanish and English myself, and with a legal background, I can attest that her translations are 100% accurate. Before using Cindyâs services, I had to constantly ask the translators for revisions. On the Contrary Cindyâs work is always perfect, and neat. I am always impressed at her skills and extensive vocabulary. I would recommend her services to everybody. Yes, I charge 15 cents per word.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a BA in Spanish, a Certificate of Translation from Arizona State University and a Medical Bilingual Specialist Certificate from Mercy Gilbert, plus a couple of Spanish graduate classes.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started being translator for my mother since I moved to Arizona in 1998 and 4 years later I started translating at the jobs I had since I was 16. When I was in college I saw the need for good translators so I started my education in Spanish Literature and fell in love with translating and languages. I then started translating for Law Firms at the age of 19 and I haven't stopped translating since then.
