- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Typically, most companies charge you to come out and look and will apply that towards the repair. We do not do that. All estimates are always free whether they are done in person or sometimes can be done over the phone. We just simply charge for the repair or the service that you are wanting, we never have contracts, startup fees and again all estimates are always free.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically with thumbtack they send us a direct lead we will send a reply usually in a matter of minutes and call you immediately after that depending on what the job is sometimes we can give estimates over the phone at that time or other times I may have to see the pool or diagnose the problem in person and will give you the estimate then. Typically, if the estimate is needed in person, we usually do it the following day and in some cases the same day if possible.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Well, they really do not have schools for pool service and repair just seminars which will get you certifications in such fields and usually those seminars are held at swimming pool conventions I personally have over 60 or so certifications from heaters to water chemistry and everything in between. I even have one for pool hydraulics. Which is more for flow rates, pipe sizes and plumbing entire swimming pools.
