- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
At this time I currently don't offer financing options but I do accept cash, checks and all debit/credit cards. Most of my business comes from my trade accounts like builders and designers so my pricing is set up at wholesale by default. All my clients receive full attention to details to everything we do at builders pricing level.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
At Olympic Hardwood Flooring I have recognized that all of our valued clients are as unique as their lifestyles. Unlike anyone else selling hardwood flooring products in the Valley I takes time to truly understand each of our clients’ needs, wants and desires. I do just that following this simple couple steps process: Starting with the most important step…. Initial Phone Consultation and it’s simple “I listen” – During this step I find out all important information regarding your upcoming hardwood project: What type, species, color, texture and finish is the you are looking for. Areas where new hardwood flooring will be installed. Ideal time when the project is expected to start and finish. Ask for pictures, by email, of the described areas and current furniture set up for us to get familiar with the colors and interior design style of the home in order to prepare the best product samples to be brought to the first in-home appointment. In-Home Appointment: Field measurements and visual inspection of the areas – During this step I am able to get very accurate measurements of the desired areas, I also get to perform a visual inspection to identify any potential/hidden challenges that may occur before and during installation like: necessary concrete/substrate preparation in order to accept new hardwood flooring but also we’re able to discuss all the finish details how you want your house look like once finished (baseboards or transitions between adjacent different floor covering like carpet, tile, stone, etc) As a professional I bring the best samples of the hardwood flooring which fit your specifications shared during our initial phone consultation. That allows you to minimize the time you would otherwise have to spend driving around all the flooring stores in the valley hoping to find what you are looking for. Using my knowledge of all manufacturers and products available in today’s market “I do the search for you”. I sell hardwood flooring that best matches your home and your personal style and NOT what is “out there” on sale or overstocked that some other companies are trying and sometimes even forcing you in to purchase. Spend as much time as you need us –I am very passionate about hardwood and what I do. Creating the ultimate customer experience during your search for hardwood flooring and the company you will eventually hire for the project is the goal in every visit to the house. I do that by – showing up on time to the appointments, educating you on all you need to know about hardwood flooring, answering all your questions and addressing any concerns you have, conduct business with honesty and integrity at all times, provide the best craftsmen’s style installation services.
