Judyta is amazing saxophone teacher & individual. I took Community College lessons in the past & had 50 minute lesson = 10 Minute Lesson + 40 Minute Instructor Private Concert. Results: I learned little on how to play Sax & lost interest. Now almost 15 years later at age 72 I still had desire to play my beautiful Tenor Sax so I signed up with this talented & educated Polish girl Judyta. She taught me how to breathe, position lower lip, get proper mouth piece & reeds, how to PROPERLY position fingers, read music & LEARN HOW TO PLAY SAX! Judyta is The Best Teacher…she encourages, corrects & challenges me to play correctly & practice regularly. She has even challenged me to invite my 18 grandchildren to my 1st Sax Recital. Learning & Playing SAX is A JOY WITH JUDYTA !!

My experience with this instructor is that she is very professional but also personable. She listens to me as a student and provides feedback that has helped with both the physical and mental parts of learning to play the saxophone. She is always enthusiastic and encouraging. I look forward to my lessons, I practice and sometimes, I get frustrated with myself but she has a style that helps me to power through and keep looking forward. BTW, when she makes cookies, she shares, they are really good, lol.

Ms. Murzyn started teaching me, a first time adult alto saxophone player, in late August, 2016. Over an eight month period (until she had to move to Arizona) I went from making loud, ugly noises to being able to play, at an advancing beginner level, several different types of music. Her very strong classical foundation ensures that students learn the basics well. She has high standards but is friendly and professional, not harsh. She easily adapted lessons to my musical interests as I advanced. I would have continued taking lessons from her had her career not required her to move. I recommend her highly!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge 80$ for 60min lesson and 60$ for 30min lesson.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I give a free 30min trial lesson to get to know each other. It is important that a student is a good fit for a teacher, just like it is important for a student to find the right teacher. After the initial assessment both the teacher and student decide whether they would want to continue working together. From that moment I start working on creating a detailed curriculum outlining students goals, aspirations and addressing their problems to improve their technique, and musicianship.

I hold Master degree in Multiple Woodwinds Performance & Pedagogy, Master degree in Saxophone Performance & Pedagogy, as well as Bachelor degree in Saxophone Performance.
