Working with Ziprent to find a property and sign a lease has been one of the easiest experiences! Thanks to Ziprent, the house-hunting and lease-signing processes were incredibly smooth and satisfying. I would 100% use Ziprent for house-leasing in the future!

Ive lived at my ziprent property for about 2 years, and overall Ive had a good experience, but Ive had a couple issues. Most things are handled automatically which makes it great for any requests/inquiries that are expected when living in an apartment. All maintenance issues/requests specific to my unit have been handled very quickly and efficiently. The reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is that there are very limited resources dedicated to handling any issues that arent already within the automated system. So if anything happens where you need to get in touch with a human at ziprent, or building management, the owner of your unit, your neighbors, the HOA, etc. youre out of luck. Ive never been able to reach a human being at ziprent over the phone and Im not able to directly contact the person/entity who owns my property, my neighbors, the HOA, maintenance people, etc. Everything must be done through the ziprent portal and the options for submitting requests are very limited. At one point, there was a new internet service being installed in my building, and I signed up for the promotional service that came with the new installation if you chose to switch. I requested that service be installed on the first day it was available. Somehow my request wasnt included with the rest of the building, so I had to wait until the end of that week to have my service installed, and the person who came to connect the service to my unit royally messed up. They ended up disconnecting the previous internet service for my entire floor, without connecting me to the new service. Because there was no way to directly contact the HOA, my neighbors, or anyone else affected by the situation (and no way for them to contact me), I didnt find out about the installers mistake until another resident hired a technician to restore the original service, and that technician came to my door to inform me that I had done something to cut off the internet connection for the entire floor, and that I would have to pay to reconnect the wifi for every unit on the floor. I was eventually able to sort things out, but ziprent did absolutely nothing to help. I was unable to speak directly to anyone in the building, and to this day I still hear my neighbors talking badly about me and about how much trouble I caused - because I wasnt able to inform anyone about what happened.TLDR: ziprent is great unless you have to deal with a complicated situation or any issues outside of their automated parameters. If anything unique or urgent happens, or you need the assistance of a real person, youre out of luck.

They got my place rented out in less than a month and provided very good advice and were always available to answer a call. Well worth the price point so far. I love the fixed rate and they stay true to that. The only thing I would add to make them a 5 star service instead of a 4.8 is that they show your house in person. They made it very clear they dont do that so it was not a surprise but the process would have been cleaner imo. I had someone accidentally leave the AC on and had my neighbor turn it off and also had someone forget to lock the door. They do advertise themselves as a virtual company but I think that part should be in person. But they were able to organize tons of showings back to back everyday so it worked out. I also think that they seem to have a great system with how they put tenants in the house. I wish they would help out more with getting the house "move in ready" but they insist that we do all the front work before the first tenant. After that they will do it all with the next tenants and so on. It just made it hard for me as I moved out of state so organizing cleanings and repairs was difficult on my own. But I understand they want a "clean-slate" to start with. Other than that so far im really excited to work with them and see how they do. So far its been a good experience and they show a lot of promise. Just be ready for those minor inconveniences.
