Constant devouring of education via internet, books, magazines, and experimentation.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
One of my most exciting recent projects uses the #nakedyoga hashtag. This shoot was for a model/yoga practitioner. We created a studio-like environment in her home, keeping with a surreal black and white look, celebrating the beautiful anatomy at play in the poses. The final aspect of this image which is fun, is that it is shown upside down. That is where I put on my artist hat. It may seem silly, but I LOVED it upside down. It looks more surreal that way. So you see, reality is not my main concern; creating the best images I can create is my main concern.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I want you to have ideas in mind for what you want! Please show me other work that I should be inspired by if you want to do that. Just know that I apply my own artistic perspective to each situation. SO: if you expect me to create an exact copy of something, it may or may not work. You will be a happier customer is you give me the necessary visual stimulus, then understand that I will create my own interpretation of that. You see?
