I have been cooking all of my life, but professionally since 2014. Food is my passion, so it's always done with love and great intent. I am skilled in most cuisines, but I specialize in Cajun/Creole, Southern Soul food, Latin, and Texas style BBQ. AJ did a fabulous job making a Mexican meal for my husband’s surprise 40th birthday. The best queso I have ever had! AJ was everything you would need in a personal chef and will use again. Including a beautiful table setting.

Chef AJ was absolutely phenomenal! We hired him for a private dinner to celebrate my Mom and Aunt's birthday, and he created a Southern meal that made us feel right at home. Being from TN, LA, and TX, we had high standards—and Chef AJ exceeded every one of them. The table was beautifully set with elegant plating and tabletop fire pits that elevated the entire experience. Even though we arrived a bit late, Chef AJ was already prepping like a pro, completely at ease and so welcoming. As a fellow Texan, he instantly felt like family. We had music playing, line dancing going on, and there he was, bopping his head while cooking—it was like having your favorite cousin in the kitchen. The food? Incredible. He served pork chops stuffed with cornbread dressing, citrus-infused candied yams, collard greens, a dreamy mac and cheese, and for dessert—peach cobbler with vanilla bean ice cream. Every bite was bursting with flavor, perfectly seasoned, and the pork chops were so juicy we couldn’t stop raving about them. Chef AJ didn’t just cook; he hosted. He explained each dish as he served it and checked on us throughout the evening. It was more than a meal—it was a full experience. We’re still talking about it days later.
