We hired Ground Zero Landscape and Construction to update our yard. The space is very nice, but it needed to be refreshed. Chad made a solid plan that both addressed my problems and made creative use of the best of the existing landscape and patio. He made wonderful suggestions for plants and other features I requested. The job started on time and Chad stayed in touch with us throughout the project. His crew did precise work and cleaned up after themselves each day. To provide a few details, the Ground Zero team removed an old, leaky water feature and reused the boulders around the yard; updated the irrigation system; built a pony wall to provide hidden storage; replaced and improved the edging around the grass areas; turned an ugly patio construction into a really nice focal point; added landscape lighting to make a sidewalk safe and attractive; and added many colorful plants. Chad’s focus throughout the project was our satisfaction with the final product. We are very happy with the results.

June 13, 2018 Ground Zero Landscaping LLC review. The owner Chad Bennett was pleasant and easy to talk to. I did not have a specific design or specifications for the company to use for my brick paver walkway and a 3-foot-wide border around the back of my 57-year-old house. So, Chad helped with some of the decision making regarding the pattern and how to resolve grade variations. The paver masons were precise with the difficult fits and quick to set grades and set the pavers. I asked for some changes to the original scope of work to include a drip system valve replacement which was accomplished by another employee other than the two masons. There were some miscommunications related to some fill dirt that was needed to fill a low area adjacent to the masonry. Initially some gravel mix (ABC) and caliche was brought in for the fill material which I rejected as unacceptable but Chad quickly found a source of “turf soil” and removed and replaced the ABC and caliche with the “turf soil” which I found acceptable. Overall: My wife and I were very pleased with the paver results; it improved the appearance of the house and will reduce the yearly maintenance. I highly recommend Ground Zero Landscaping with one caveat: it you do not have a formal design or specifications, as I did not, you will need to follow up as the work progresses with feedback to Chad and his workers to ensure you get what you have envisioned.

This is definitely a 5 star company! From initial phone call and first meeting all the way till final walk through I felt like my job was important. They did such a great job they 3 of my neighbors used them!!!

I found the quality of work was excellent, just what I wanted. They were professional and punctionual and if I had questions the project manager responded in a timely manner. Job finished on time and I was very pleased with my yard.

Our pricing is the same straight across the board. People often think if they live in a more upscale neighborhood they're going to pay more. That is not the case with Ground Zero Landscape & Construction. Our prices pull up the same through our estimate system throughout the state.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Initially we like to speak to the customer for 5 to 10 minutes over the phone so we can really get a feel for the project. We want to make sure that we are prepared for the estimate with anything that we will need. This gives us a feel of what we are looking at going into the estimate and make sure we have the right person for the estimate.
