I have over 28 years of experience as a professional Interior Designer and have completed many award winning projects all over the valley. Design is my true love! A great deal of my passion coupled with years of experience in design, promises to result in a finished product that both you and I will be proud of. Your personalized interior design service will be based specifically on your needs and the scope of services you are seeking. No two projects should look alike either! Every one of my jobs is a reflection of the personality and taste of the client and or their family. Assisting my clients in creating what their "end-vision" is, is my goal. My work has been featured on the cover of Phoenix Home and Garden multiple times, HGTV, as well as other publications and books. I love everything about designing from the smallest job, to the biggest. Being able to truly listen and learn about clients, and the way they live, is a vital component. Lastly, bringing a high end look at an affordable, budget driven price, is what 95% of my clients look for and why they choose to use me.

Georgia was the best decision that my husband and I have made with our home design! We did a lot of research on interior designers and it was clear her experience and portfolio far exceeded the rest. We hired Georgia for our living room, play room, dining room, and breakfast nook. She also helped with selection of the paint color, carpet, and flooring for bathrooms, and lighting fixtures throughout the house. She completely exceeded every expectation and then some. We loved working with Georgia and feel so lucky that we found such a gem!!! Her taste is exceptional, and she helps to push our non designer minds into greater limits to really push our design concepts to the next level. She is brilliant, fun to be around , and we will miss working with her!

I can't say enough good things about Georgia! She exceeded my expectations. I reached out to her to design Living space, Dining room and kitchen for my new home. Not only did she spend time discussing my budget, preferences, style- she really helped me with the timeline and ideas on how to make my home look vibrant. She went above and beyond to make me feel satisfied with the output! She really put a lot of thought into understanding my expectations. She invested a lot of her time in researching the right products for me, went shopping with me, help me choose stuff according to my taste which went with the theme. She would put in her best of efforts into any project that she takes up, big or small! I am in love with all the pieces we shopped and having a hard time deciding my favorites! I have worked with other designers in the past, but Georgia stands out among most of them for her perfection and the attention to detail. I highly recommend her!

I purchased my home during a pandemic. I was in over my head trying to settle on a design style. After poring over so many design magazines, I saw projects that Bates Interiors had done and knew immediately that I wanted Georgia Bates to design my home. It was the best decision I have ever made when it comes to completing my home environment. Georgia was extremely professional. She listened to what I thought I wanted and gently steered me into making the right choices for my home. Her design esthetic helped create a warm and inviting home. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Bates Interiors charges $100 per hour for the initial consultation meeting, then $95/hour for project management, implementation, and all the nitty-gritty thereafter. If a client feels more comfortable working on a flat rate basis, this too can be set up after the initial appointment to determine scope of project.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After the initial introduction call to determine the client’s general needs, a site visit is in order. Expect a thorough walk-through of your home or business, to learn more about you and your vision and goals. Then I will give you advice on achieving that vision—ideally keeping in mind your style preference, budget, and timeline.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over 20 years experience in residential Interior Design. My clients have ranged from very high-end, to smaller simpler ones. I am certified in Auto CAD 2021 and affiliated with the Scottsdale Associating of Interior Design. Many of my projects have been featured in local and national publications as well as being on HGTV shows.
