We hired Abel at ARGA Construction to remove/replace/finish several sections of drywall in our garage due to a few roof leaks. I sent in my inquiry on Thumbtack at close to 9pm and he responded and had me scheduled that evening in spite of the hour of day. He arrived promptly as scheduled two days later in spite of a long drive to our property. He patched, textured and painted our ceiling and cleaned up after his work. The quality of the texture and paint matching was excellent. He also replaced some caulking in a shower and sink for us and even fixed a gap in our LVP flooring while he was here. All for what I felt was a reasonable price given the quality. His perfect 5.0 rating here on Thumbtack tells the story. I also gave him 5 stars, will use him again and would recommend to others. We just got keys to our new home and it needed some work and paint prior to move in. Abel understood our sense of urgency and jumped right in. He repair the base under the sink that was missing due to a bad leak, secured the microwave above the stove that wasn't installed correct, corrected and outlet issue, sanded and painted seamlessly the kitchen ceiling that had a previous leak, painted two bedrooms and 2 bathrooms! He is fast, efficient and most importantly a friendly professional. Definite will hire again!!

I put in my project details on Wed Oct 25 to have my interior garage painted and got a response from Abel within hours. We set up an onsite estimate for the next day. We went over the details and he gave me a fair quote The estimate included the cost of paint, supplies and labor, but I said I wanted to wait for other estimates to come in. Another Thumbtack pro quoted lower without even seeing anything then raised the price when I provided details. Never heard from anyone else so I reached out to Abel again to hire and set a start date. He said he was available a few days later. When I selected the color paint I wanted to use, I inquired about doing the baseboards & trim in a different color. bel said it was no problem but would cost a little extra due to additional time needed. It was a reasonable increase, so I decided to proceed. He came out Mon Oct 30 around 8am and was finished (including clean-up) by 4pm. His prep work was thorough, going over exactly what I wanted done one last time, and his attention to detail was precise and exact. The completed paint job looked wonderful! He left me his business card and let me know of other types of work he did in case I had need of him for the future. I will definitely reach out to Abel again for future projects and I would recommend his services to anyone!
