Corneliu is a true master craftsman! I needed some repairs on my granite countertops, with one in particular being a little tricky. During the original installation by another granite contractor, two slabs were joined together... and not very well. Over the years, one of the slabs began to sink because there wasn't proper support underneath. As a result, the seam—the meeting place of the two slabs—was no longer flush, further resulting in a crack in the granite. Enter Corneliu. He was able to bring the two slabs back into alignment without having to disassemble the countertop, which is something I thought impossible, and he did it so seamlessly (yes, pun intended). He also fixed the crack so that it is not noticeable. The countertop looks brand new again! Corneliu also was able to grind back the end of the counter to allow the installation of a new oven, and he repaired some other cracks and chips for me, and he did all of this for an incredibly fair price! I have obviously not always chosen the right contractor for the job, but not this time. I couldn't be more pleased with Corneliu and his work. He is a very nice young man who loves what he does and he does it extremely well. It's no wonder he's known as Dr. Stone!

Corneliu did a great job on our limestone shower floor tiles that had been accidentally etched by our house cleaners. He showed up on time and was able to successfully restore the original honed finish. He even resealed the tiles for me, which I didn’t realize was included. I highly recommend!

I can't say enough good things about the work Corneliu did. It wasn't a big job, most of it was fixing and refinishing shoddy workmanship, drilling out crumbling grout and replacing cracked tiles left by the tilers that did my bathrooms. However, everything turned out so clean and beautiful. I'm so happy to finally have it look the way that I always imagined it could. He even came back for a second day when he realized he couldn't get my vanity right while it was in place, he took the extra time to make sure it was done right and constructed a beautiful, practically invisible seam for a backsplash piece so that it looked perfect. He also didn't nickle and dime me for the extra time or effort he put into it. I would highly recommend him to anyone and can't wait to be able to remodel my kitchen.
