Introduction

Hi, My name is Bruce and I am a professional dog trainer with over 25 years experience helping people better understand their dogs. There are very few dog trainers who have the experience I have and are able to communicate with dogs on the level I do. My main concern when training dogs is that they stay in the same family their entire life. My approach to training is to put the tools and knowledge in the hands of the dog owners so they can continue the training and deal with any future issues that may come up. My sessions are normally two hours. It's important to me in having a part with getting dogs adopted out of these animal shelters and never going back.

He is a dog whisperer. He fixed my pugs constantly barking whenever I had guests. She no longer barks the whole time someone visits me. She lets out one bark and quits. I would recommend him in a heartbeat!

Bruce was great! Very nice man, obviously really loves dogs and very patient. My 7 month old puppy Hank (chocolate lab) can be a handful and Bruce was very kind and patient with him. I would absolutely recommend Bruce for dog training.

He gave us some good advice and suggestions on how to deal and manage our dog’s problems. He even recommended a useful tool to correct him. We didn’t do as much “with” the dog as much as discuss the issues and how to try to solve them. He is very knowledgeable and we appreciated his input, he even check back in to see how our dog was doing. My only thought was that I thought the amount we paid for the time he spent with us was a little high

Time and money well spent . I interviewed 3 different trainers and Bruce is the one we chose to come in to our home to train us humans and our 2 pups! He hit the mail on the head when he said “training takes place on both ends of the leash”… after having owned several dogs over the years, Bruce gave us some “tools” for our toolbox. Worked with the pups right away ! Looking forward to using all the tips and touching back with Bruce in a couple of weeks

I charge by the session and the purpose of my sessions is to address all the issues with their dogs and empower the dog owners to continue the training.

I believe the best teachers and trainers are the dog owners, so my goal is to guide them to working with their dogs successfully.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I learned when I was a teenager that I had a gift with working with dogs. I read every training book I could get and went to a dog training school which helped me form my own ideas in how to work with dogs.
