I'd select every option to say how impeccable the teachings Jordan provides each time consistently for my sessions. I wanted to improve my chess performance bc I kept losing and making little to no progress on my own, which was annoying and frustrating eventually causing me to lose interest in the game so I hired Jordan. Jordan has a background and deep passion running through his veins for chess and most importantly the skill to be able to teach like read where I need some extra guidance. He double checks the learnings with me as well so that I understand what he taught verses just letting me walk away thinking I understood everything when I didn't so he's thorough with his work. And, he cares about my success which shines continuously through. He's a teacher of excellence and even a role model for life! Jordan is an excellent chess coach particularly for a beginner student. My son is 6years old and has made tremendous strides over the past year. Jordan is patient and comes prepared with new concepts every session. Sufficed to say we are very pleased.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My online lessons are $40/hr. I do offer some discount for siblings.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My intial goal is assess exactly what the student knows. Then come up with tailored lessons. Every student is different, so chess must explained differently to each student.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I currently work for an afterschool program that does chess club. Ive been the head coach for 9 years. During these years Ive had the opportunities to craft my teaching skills and develop different strategies, tips, and tricks for teaching chess.
