A conversation with Chris (Owner of Better Bid Drywall) established a solid work ethic and pride in his chosen trade. He's very professional and old-school generational, having learned his craft from familial predecessors. He's also very personable and deftly weaves between the two, whether addressing concerns related to the project or simply having a casual conversation. Immediately, our confidence in contracting his services was validated. Attention to detail was established from protection of the path from the entryway to the work-area and continued with preparation of each room in which he worked. His process for removal of the popcorn texture was efficient and quick. Drywall was re-secured and seams were skim-coated, then a skip-trowel finish was applied. An imperfection in one individual ceiling (a result of former water damage) was brought to our attention. Chris removed a sizeable piece and replaced it with new drywall, the finished result smooth and seamless. Work areas were cleaned upon completion. We are VERY satisfied with the results. So much so, that we plan to use him for the remainder of the house. We highly recommend Chris and Better Bid Drywall.

Chris is straightforward, clear about what he's going to do and what he's going to charge, professional, and does a great job! Unlike just about any other contractor I've hired, he's on time, finishes on time, or earlier. His prices are very fair, and he cleans up after himself. I will happily use him again when it's time to finish painting my walls.
