- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge 100.00 to mount a TV regardless of size. although I am more then willing to work with any customers budget.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Initial Consultation Assessment: Discuss the customer’s preferences, room layout, and viewing habits. Measure the space to determine the best TV size and mounting height. Site Survey: Visit the customer's location to inspect the wall structure (e.g., drywall, brick) and identify the placement of studs. Check for nearby power outlets and potential obstacles. Preparation Recommendation: Suggest the appropriate TV mount type (fixed, tilting, full-motion) based on the customer’s needs. Provide a quote for the service, including any additional materials needed. Scheduling: Set a date and time for the installation that suits the customer. Installation Marking and Drilling: Locate and mark the studs using a stud finder. Mark the mounting holes and drill pilot holes in the wall. Mounting the Bracket: Secure the wall bracket to the studs using appropriate screws and bolts. Ensure the bracket is level and stable. Attaching the TV: Attach the mounting bracket to the back of the TV. With care, lift and mount the TV onto the wall bracket. Ensure the TV is securely locked into place. Final Steps Cable Management: Organize and conceal the cables for a neat appearance. Offer options for hiding cables, such as using cable covers or in-wall solutions. Testing: Test the TV to make sure it’s functioning properly and the picture is clear. Adjust the TV angle if necessary. Customer Walkthrough: Show the customer how to adjust the TV if it’s a tilting or full-motion mount. Explain any maintenance tips and answer any questions.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
i was in telecommunications for 41 years. I received training that had to do with all the technologies that either are part of the smart tv or components that connect to the tv. I am also a subject matter expert in wireless. I have many years of experience working with wireless, cable tv I work for comcast and dish so i have working knowledge of cable and sat systems. I have working knowledge of dvds player, gaming systems, home theater systems where I have 41 years of experience.
