FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Common hard flooring projects include glazed tile eg. ceramic, porcelain; natural stone eg. travertine, slate, granite, marble; hewn/fired eg. brick, flagstone; baked clay eg. Saltillo, Terra Cotta; hardwood, engineered laminate flooring eg. Pergo, Clik-Loc; vinyl, linoleum, vinyl composite tile, luxury composite tile, epoxy, resin, stained/finished concrete. Pricing is determined based on my anticipated work rate factoring the area, size, grout, condition and type of flooring. Natural clay, travertine and stone must be evaluated for overall condition. Stripping, sealing and polishing will affect process, as well. Most common areas of client concern are with porous, recessed grout lines; improper sealing and finishing of tile and flooring; and chemical contamination. Carpet cleaning companies lack the industry expertise and equipment to effectively and economically remedy these problems. The primary focus of such companies should be textile eg. related to carpet, upholstery and draperies. Discounts may apply onsite. Evaluations, demonstrations and quotes are always free with no obligation Baseboard detail, appliance kick-out and threshold details may be at additional cost.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I enjoy meeting with my clients at project site. My equipment is packaged in a roll-off suitcase and is ready to demonstrate within minutes. The results are amazing and those who see my process instantly understand in detail and depth. I do what is agreed, and don't upsell unnecessarily. Treating clients as I would like to be treated is simply good business.
