- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to meet my customers on the jobsite to take measurements, gather information, set expectations, and create a diagram for an accurate and itemized quote. For simple projects, I can also give a quote/estimate over the app or text message.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My father was a flooring installer. He taught my brothers and I the trade from the time we were old enough to work over the summer breaks.. I always joke that he quickly realized that college wasn’t for me and that I needed the trade..
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
See Alex E’s review. It’s one of the bigger projects I’ve been apart of. His project was great for the growth of my craftsmanship, from the issues that required creative problem solving to the luxury flooring and tile product and materials used. Their design and vision was so clearly awesome that I wanted to do everything I could for them.. in total the project took me and my crew roughly 2.5-3 weeks. Every one was on the same page, every one took their time when it came to detail work, no one cut corners to speed up the process. It’s what their vision required and deserved.
