- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
All my quotes are firm and include pre-treating, most furniture moving, and general deodorizer. There are NO HIDDEN CHARGES and I NEVER TRY TO "UP-SELL" YOU. The price I quote is the price you will pay for carpet or upholstery cleaning. If you have a severe pet odor problem, that may require and specialty enzyme treatment, which is a flat cost between $15-30 depending on the size of the area. My prices are discounted for everyone upfront, and the more you have cleaned, the bigger the discount. I charge the lowest price possible for me to do a TOP QUALITY JOB. I accept credit cards, cash, check, or PayPal.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The process starts by providing a fixed upfront quote for the work to be performed. By this, I mean a quote that includes everything necessary to clean fully, with NO HIDDEN CHARGES AND NO SALES PITCHES FOR ADDITIONAL AND UNNECESSARY SERVICES. Once the pricing is established, all that is left is to schedule an appointment. Payment is not due until after the work is successfully completed. That's all there is to it, and it can be completely arranged through the Thumbtack app.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have been doing carpet and upholstery cleaning under my own business for 19 years. Before that, I worked for 10 years in my Dad's carpet and upholstery cleaning business. During this time, I have seen every type of situation and every type of stain. It's that kind of experience that my customers receive on every job.
