In my experience, every caricature artist has their own style, which is great. Variety is the spice of life, right? Some people like my style because I really try to capture the essence of the person and make it look as realistic as possible. Exaggeration is an important part of caricature, but I think the most important part is to make sure it looks like the person, in the most flattering way possible. I always look for the best in people and try to emphasize that in my drawings. As long as I can remember I have always love drawing people. Caricatures are fun for me because I am able to interact with the person I am drawing and get a feel for their personality, which then helps me to work this into the drawing!

After watching Jeremy of "Affordable Caricatures" work at Phoenix First Friday, I contacted him about drawing at an art festival that I was organizing. From the very first e-mail that I sent, Jeremy was absolutely wonderful to work with. He answered all my e-mails quickly, thoroughly, and always gave me help and ideas when I asked for them. I appreciated all the help that he gave me during the planning stages because we had never had a "live art" demonstration at the event before. I could not have been more pleased with the way things went on the day of our festival. Jeremy showed up early, worked fast all day so that he could draw as many pictures as possible, and was even kind enough to stay after the time we paid him to draw a picture as a favor to me. He was also very nice to all the people who asked him questions, even if he had just answered the question for someone else or had already answered it 100 times for other people. We had over 5000 people at our event, and while he obviously could not draw them all, he really did his best to draw as many as possible. Lines formed to watch him work because it was so interesting to see his drawings come together. Everyone who received a picture was extremely happy with their portrait. I heard many people say they were going to frame their picture. I also appreciated the fact that Jeremy drew everyone in a "positive" way and never highlighted any negative features that a person may have had. Jeremy did such a great job for us that not only are we going to bring him back next year, but we are going book him for additional time!

I recently hired Jeremy for an office party. Jeremy was prompt, professional and did an amazing job. Approximately 40 employees attended the mid-day party and almost all of them sat for a portrait. Many of the employees have hung their caricatures in their offices. He truly made the event enjoyable. I greatly appreciated his willingness to work later than our agreed upon time to finish the last few people who were still waiting for their caricature. I would hire him for future events.

This is the second year I've requested Jeremy attend our company's annual party as a caricature artist. Our event brings in almost 300 people from all over the US. Consistent with last year, everyone is screaming rave reviews about his artwork and bringing it to the office for all to see. Jeremy is very professional and has an excellent style that anyone is sure to love. I'll definitely request his service again next year!

Compare Samples you see on other sites. I only use current samples which show you exactly what you are going to get. Professional samples should always show a photograph of the person holding their caricature.
