FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Clear pricing structure: Customers should know how much they can expect to pay for each service, and what is included in that cost. We provide a clear pricing structure upfront, so that the customer can make an informed decision. Discounts and promotions: We offer discounts or promotions for new customers, or for specific services during certain times of the year. Customers should ask about any available discounts or promotions, and be aware of any terms or conditions that may apply. Fees: Customers should also be aware of any additional fees that may apply, such as delivery fees or disposal fees for yard waste. We are transparent about any fees upfront. Payment terms: Customers should know when payment is due and what payment methods are accepted. Some works require a deposit upfront, while others may offer payment plans or financing options. Overall, customers should feel comfortable asking about pricing and be provided with clear, transparent information. We will be happy to answer any questions and help the customer find the best solution for their needs and budget.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Initial consultation: The first step in working with a new customer is to schedule an initial consultation. During this meeting, we will typically ask the customer about their needs, preferences, and budget, and will assess the property to identify any potential challenges or opportunities. Design proposal: Based on the information gathered during the initial consultation, we will develop a design proposal that outlines the scope of work, materials needed, and estimated costs. This proposal will be presented to the customer for review and approval. Contract and scheduling: Once the design proposal is approved, we will create a contract that outlines the specifics of the project, including timelines, payment terms, and warranties. Once the contract is signed, the project can be scheduled and work can begin. Implementation: Depending on the scope of the project, we may need to coordinate with other contractors or subcontractors, such as electricians or irrigation specialists. Throughout the implementation phase, the landscaper will communicate regularly with the customer to provide updates and address any concerns. Final walkthrough and maintenance: Once the project is complete, we will conduct a final walkthrough with the customer to ensure that they are satisfied with the work. We will also provide guidance on ongoing maintenance to help the customer keep their property looking beautiful and healthy.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I started in landscaping over a decade ago as a laborer and worked my way up through the ranks. Along the way, I've taken courses and attended workshops to learn more about horticulture, irrigation, and other important aspects of landscaping. I believe that hands-on experience is just as valuable as formal education.
