Rich was amazing to work with from day one. He responded to my request for a quote right away. Drew up what I wanted within a few days. Willingly made adjustments to the art as requested. Was great about changes requested by my supervisors. Was patient while we got the PO set up to begin work and then did an amazing job in just four days. If I have more work to be done in the future, this is my guy. We have had a grueling remodel done to our campus and this was the best part by far in terms of workmanship, timeliness and just overall satisfaction. A+

Wow! He delivered a piece of art. He listened to my requests (abstract, agave, peaceful, simple, organic) and hit it out of the park!!!! I love my fine art mural in my Tempe townhouse courtyard. Well worth the price to have high-quality blending of paints and a one-of-a-kind piece of art for Casa de la Rosa Writing Center.

Rich was the first pro to respond to my request. We had a great prelim conversation regarding my mural needs and he prepared and delivered design options within 48 hours. We agreed on a design and he was able to begin the project earlier than originally anticipated. He arrived to begin the work fully prepared and navigated a few challenges easily. The Mural painting was completed in a day and in time for my tenant's grand opening. Every was thrilled with the final product. It is the perfect combo of "selfie wall and brand compliment" that I originally envisioned. Rich is promt, polite and professional. He is a true Artist and designer with a great eye.

Richard was awesome and a life saver. He created the design for our mural but then had issues which prevented him from being able to complete the project for several weeks. As a result, we agreed that I'd pay him 10% of his quote for the artwork and I could get someone else who was available immediately to paint it for me. As it turns out, the progress artist completed approximately 75% of the job and never showed up to complete the work. I called Richard back, explained the situation, and he was able to come complete the mural the following Monday. He's a wonderful artist as well as a great person to do business with. I'd highly recommend him for anyone else's project.

FAQs
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge by the square foot for murals based on the complexity of the design and also the surface to be painted.
For example an easy graphic or logo would run about $15 per sq. ft.
But a very detailed realistic mural would cost about $35 per sq. ft.
And of course there are designs that fall between these two extremes that would reflect a price per foot in between the two I mentioned.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I will call the client on the phone and have a conversation about what they want painted. I will also go the their home or business if they like and check out the wall to be painted. Then I will take photos of the wall and go back to my studio and come up with a design based on their idea and show them how it will look on their wall. I put all that together in photoshop so they know exactly how it will look.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a BA in fine art and commercial art and an associates in desktop publishing.
