We had never done a bathroom remodel before, so we tried to learn on the fly, and not look like complete idiots. We had gotten a few other estimates, but are so happy those didn't work out. We liked Lloyd from the first moment we met him. He had a really positive energy about him, and was really patient and engaged as we tried to explain what we wanted. He said he would get us an estimate within a day, which he did. We were pleasantly surprised by his quote, and both felt really good about hiring him. Lloyd did the entire job himself, so it took a little longer than if there was a team. But because Lloyd is a master of his craft, it was definitely worth a little extra time. And quite honestly, on his last day we were a little sad, because Lloyd was such a pleasure to have around. He had such a happy energy! He would play music during the day (very respectfully) , and we loved his playlists! Lloyd hurt his lower back at one point, and although he came to work, he was obviously in a lot of pain. We kept telling him to take a day or 2 to rest his back, but the only thing he was worried about was letting us down. That tells you a lot about who he is. He also gave us floor and walk in shower that was beyond our expectations. It's seriously like a high end resort now. Lloyd is a humble guy, but I would book your job right now, because he's in demand.

Lloyd and his team were so professional, prompt, and did an amazing job redoing the tile on the walls of our shower. Their attention to detail was incredible and the turn out was 10/10. The whole team is extremely knowledgeable. We told Lloyd our budget and he worked with us to get us to a price we were comfortable with. We will definitely be recommending U&I Tiles and Construction to our friends and family and will be contacting them for future bathroom remodels.

I had a small trim project that needed to be done. I wanted to have chair rail applied to my tall stair wall. I contacted a few contractors to quote the project. Lloyd came out the same day and gave me a quote on the spot. His quote came in the lowest, and he was very nice and personable. I hired him. He came out the next day and installed the molding per my design. He offered a suggestion during the process on how the baseboard might look better. I'm glad I took his suggestion because it turned out great. I am overall very pleased with Lloyd's work. I plan to hire him for future projects, and I would definitely recommend him for yours.

Lloyd and his partner completed some trim work and grouting on tile/vinyl plank flooring. They have integrity and we will use them in the future for any carpentry/flooring needs

Lloyd restored my faith in contractors!!! We purchased a Pulte home (when the original buyer backed out) while we were still in California… Since the house was closed to being completed, we were not able to pick out colors, flooring, bathroom fixtures, we were stuck with what the original buyer picked out… Needless to say, we were not happy with what Pulte did, especially with the prefabricated bathrooms.. I thank God, I found Thumbtack and Lloyd… After submitting many requests to have someone come out to give me an estimate on removing the prefabricated walls and tiling the walls without much success, I happened to come across U&I Tile and Construction, I read the reviews and saw pictures of previous jobs, emailed them to request a free estimate… I received an email to my request and Lloyd came out the next day.. I showed him a picture of what I wanted for the 2 bathrooms, he told me that he can definitely do what I wanted…
U&I Tile and Construction did such a wonderful job remodeling my 2 guest bathrooms that I’m going to have them do my Master bathroom as well… Lloyd is meticulous, respectful of your property as well as your time, extremely responsive, punctual (he always lets me know what time he would be at the house every morning) and extremely skilled at what he does… I love, love my bathrooms (especially the niches that I asked him to put in) now and can’t wait to see what he’s going to do to the Master bathroom…
