Introduction
With over a decade of fitness coaching experience, my training philosophy is focused on personal growth through education, consistency, and honest reflection. Adaptive programming and an understanding that every individual has a unique story ensures that my coaching provides the tools for clients to take control of their success. I provide in-person training sessions to individuals, families, couples, and anyone hoping to learn resistance, endurance, or sport-related training principles. I currently train at SELF MADE in Gilbert, Arizona. This gym is 15,000 square feet and is a private gym, meaning it is only open to personal trainers and their clients. This means NO MEMBERSHIP FEES. The only thing you invest in is your sessions! I also provide online training services through Project ATK. Mateo was my coach in Southern California for several years, and I credit him with helping me to form - a little later in life than I should have - a healthy mindset. As a client in his 40s, I was able to achieve a level of physical fitness to rival guys half my age. I met with Mateo at the gym a couple of times a week for 1:1 coaching, and he guided me on how to round out the week. I recall we initially spent time focusing on HIIT workouts, but he pushed me out of my comfort zone into doing more strength training, which I appreciate. I was not a huge gym rat before I met Mateo, and I was a bit clueless about how to maximize my progress on my fitness journey, but he really helped me get into shape and stay in shape. I would likely still be working with Mateo to this day, but he moved out of state. He is friendly, motivating and up on the latest science. I highly recommend him! And for those who are on the fence about paying for a personal coach, what better investment is there than your personal health and fitness?!

Mateo is very knowledgeable. He not only teaches proper lifting form, he explains why it will benefit muscle growth. Mateo also has an ability to not only motivate but joke around making working out fun.

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

    In-Person Training: We have programs to fit every budget and goal. I usually train clients between 2-5x/week as we find that those are usually appropriate for their goals, but everyone is different! Online Training: Online programming is month-to-month, and clients may quit their program anytime. **FIRST RESPONDER DISCOUNT** - All First Responder, Active Duty Military, and Veterans receive a 20% discount on all training!
